datacube
A shared design foundation for sales dashboards, company setup, and TV displays.

Context
Home-services companies track performance across service, advertising, and accounting tools. datacube brings data from ServiceTitan, HouseCall Pro, advertising platforms, and QuickBooks into dashboards, goals, and team contests.
Each company needs a different view of that data. The design work covered custom dashboards and the configuration behind them, supported by a reusable component system for desktop and TV screens.

Problem
Company structures, metrics, and reporting needs varied from client to client. Each dashboard had to reflect those differences without introducing a new set of interface rules.
Desktop and TV screens also serve different tasks. On desktop, people configure and manage the data. On a TV, the dashboard needs to communicate at a glance. The challenge was to support both uses with a consistent visual foundation.
Approach
I built reusable patterns around the recurring parts of the platform, then used them for client-specific screens and dashboards. Components for TV displays addressed that viewing context within the same design system.
Company setup separates regions, trades, divisions, departments, and user types. A searchable divisions table shows how the organization is mapped. Giving that structure a clear place provides context for the dashboards and goals configured around it.

The calendar brings working days, editable settings, and events into one view. The schedule and its configuration sit side by side, making the relationship between them visible while changes are made.

Contest setup starts with a gallery organized by role, including installers, service technicians, and customer-service representatives. Users can choose a relevant template or start from scratch, giving the setup flow a clear starting point.

Result
The delivered designs combine client-specific dashboards with shared platform patterns. The design system and TV components provide a consistent foundation across layouts, while company setup, calendars, and contest templates support the work behind the dashboards.
