NUVE
Bringing inventory, device status, and partner management into a clearer operations workspace.
Context
NUVE makes connected smart thermostats. Behind the devices is an operations team managing inventory, hardware orders, distribution, and the partners who install them.
The existing back-office tool exposed these tasks through dense tables and fragmented records. The redesign needed to preserve the detail operators relied on while making stock, device status, and partner actions easier to find.

Problem
A stock count answers how much hardware is available, but leaves operators to work out how long it will last. Inventory review needed to connect the available quantity with supply needs and replenishment.
Device and partner records posed a related problem. Operators needed to narrow large lists by several attributes and act on a specific record without navigating through disconnected screens. The challenge was to keep that level of control in a readable workspace.

Approach
I organized the redesign around the decisions operators make: when to replenish stock, which devices need attention, and what to do with a partner record. Summary views provide context, while tables and contextual actions support the detailed work.
The inventory overview expresses stock as days of supply alongside unit counts. This gives replenishment a time-based context. The ordering flow keeps the quantity and supplier details together, while notifications explain the replenishment action.
An expandable filter panel lets operators combine inventory attributes rather than search one dimension at a time. Vendor, fulfillment stage, batch date, and firmware information help narrow the table to the devices relevant to the task.
Partner management brings technician records, access settings, and order history into a shared directory. A contextual drawer groups the actions around the selected record, keeping the directory available while operators review or update details.

Result
The redesign gives inventory and partner operations a shared structure. Supply coverage sits beside stock levels, filters make device records easier to narrow, and contextual actions keep related work together. The case presents these design changes rather than claiming a measured operational improvement.
